The capital of Arcadian Prefecture, is located in 650 meters altitude, in the middle of the Arcadian mountain plateau. It is an important commercial, financial and administrative centre of the Prefecture. Under the fir tree wood of Mainalon mountain (from which our hotel derives its name) among plenty of monasteries and traditional settlements, the town is an ideal starting point, not only for winter tourism, but also for historical and archaeological tourism. Vytina is a mountain resort which attracts many tourists. It is situated in 1.033 meters altitude. Its distance from Tripolis is approximately 30 minutes and its is swarming with archeological sites. River Ladonas is the main tributary river of Alfios river. The hydroelectric dam of Ladonas has a length of 104 meters and height of 55 meters, not to mention that it can collect 50.000.000 cubic meters of water. Its distance from Tripolis is approximately one and a half hour route. Lagadia is one of the most amazing villages in Greece. Lagadia is considered to be the village that developed the builder - craftsmen, who eventually created innumerous traditional mansions, churches, stone bridges, schools and monasteries, not only in Peloponnesus but also in the entire Greek domain. Lagadia is one hour route from Tripolis. One of the most beautiful routes and destination is that along the orthodox monasteries into the Lousios River Canyon. The Philosopher’s Monastery is a reference point, both for the Greek Revolution of 1821 and the so called Hidden School of that particular period. It is 1 hour far from Tripolis. Coastal Astros is a typical traditional settlement with a modern and an ancient history, too.
